For young scholars, academia can sometimes feel like a foreign country. Figuring how to start a research project, choose a dissertation topic, and evaluate your ideas can be overwhelming. In a series of interviews with speakers invited by the Nicholas D. Chabraja Center for Historical Studies at Northwestern University, this podcast investigates the process of “doing history” focusing on the struggles, setbacks, and wrong turns that inevitably lie behind great scholarship.
